Scene Study: Auditioning for Film

Service Description

Students will be given a scene on the first day of class to memorize and come to class with their own choices that we will develop over the term. The final results of this class are to give the actor a better understanding of how to connect to the character, the scene and their reader. Classes will focus on: - Audition Techniques - Working with a partner - Text Analysis - Character Development - Scene Work - Making strong choices and finding the truth in the scene. LOCATION: Winakwa Community Centre - MPR #2 COST: $315.00 GST Included PAYMENT OPTIONS: E-Transfer to: info@thewinnipegactorsacademy.com. ***Payment Plans are available at upon approval of the instructor*** WITHDRAWAL POLICY: Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance of the class start date will receive a 100% refund of the session fee. Cancellations made within a week to the class start date will incur a $100 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given once the class session has started. SUBSTITUTION POLICY: As Michael is a working actor, a qualified substitute will be assigned to the class in the event that he is booked for a role that causes him to be unavailable. You will be advised in such an event ahead of time. MISSED CLASSES: We have a policy that classes are non-transferable and we have an expectation that it is the actor's responsibility to attend all classes for which they have registered. Any accommodation of a student's schedule is at the discretion of the instructor.
