COURSE OBJECTIVES: Develop Acting Skills: Discover the fundamentals of stage acting, including vocal projection, body language, character development, and emotional expression. Engage in various acting exercises to enhance stage presence, diction, and physicality. Build Confidence: Cultivate self-assurance and self-esteem through dynamic activities that encourage risk-taking, public speaking, and the ability to think on your feet. Develop a strong stage presence and learn techniques to overcome stage fright. Enhance Creativity: Unleash your imagination and explore the limitless possibilities of storytelling. Learn to think outside the box, make bold choices, and bring characters to life through imaginative play and improvisation. Showcase Performance: Put your newfound skills into action by participating in a final showcase performance for friends and family. Apply all the techniques and knowledge acquired throughout the course to deliver an engaging and memorable theatrical experience. No previous acting experience required. Open to kids 9-12 who have a passion for storytelling and a willingness to explore their creative potential. Please contact for info. WITHDRAWAL POLICY: Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance of the class start date will receive a 100% refund of the session fee. Cancellations made within a week to the class start date will incur a $100 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given once the class session has started. SUBSTITUTION POLICY: As Michael is a working actor, a qualified substitute will be assigned to the class in the event that he is booked for a role that causes him to be unavailable. You will be advised in such an event ahead of time. MISSED CLASSES: We have a policy that classes are non-transferable and we have an expectation that it is the actor's responsibility to attend all classes for which they have registered. Any accommodation of a student's schedule is at the discretion of the instructor.
