MICHAEL STRICKLAND
Founder | Instructor
Michael Strickland, a seasoned actor with over 29 years of experience, 19 of which are in film, hails from Winnipeg. He graduated with honours from Vancouver Film School in 2014. For 5 years, he instructed Acting for the Camera, Theatre Works, and other courses at Arts Umbrella in South Surrey. Michael has trained with industry experts like Jane Jenkins, Deborah Aquila, and Seth Yanklewitz, and specializes in techniques from theatre practitioners such as Adler and Meisner.
His notable credits include roles in Hallmark and Lifetime productions, alongside celebrities like Michelle Monaghan and Lea Thompson, as well as voice work in animated series and video games.
CORA MATHESON
Instructor
Cora is a working actor, acting coach, director and yoga teacher with over 15 years of experience in the acting industry. A graduate of Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts and George Brown Theatre School, she spent over 10 years working and training in Toronto with some of the country’s most sought after instructors in both Film/TV and stage. Cora now lives in Winnipeg where - when she's not on set or on stage - she teaches acting classes and 1 on 1 coaching sessions to all ages and experience levels. Cora's work can be seen in a number of films and stage productions. Most recently she can be seen in Holiday Hotline (Hallmark), The Spencer Sisters (CTV), Hanukkah on Rye (Hallmark) and in recent international commercials for Downy: Free & Gentle and Canadian Tire.
NATHAN HOULE
Instructor
Nathan Houle is a Canadian actor, voice-over artist, producer, and coach, born and raised in Windsor, ON. An alumni of the University of Windsor's Theatre and Communications department, Nathan moved to Vancouver where he graduated from the Vancouver Film School's Acting Program in 2014, studying under several industry leading professionals.

Nathan has had the opportunity to work on such tv shows as Lost in Space, The Terror, Debris, Woke, and Fakes. He has been fortunate to work alongside several incredible actors on-screen including George Takei, Lamorne Morris, and Melissa Fumero. He has also performed in commercials for major global companies such as Nintendo and Coca-Cola.
